NFL Playoffs 2012: New York Giants Vs. Atlanta Falcons, First Look

The New York Giants meet the Atlanta Falcons Sunday, Jan. 8 (1 p.m. ET/FOX) in a first-round NFC playoff game. It is one of four games that will be held on wild-card weekend as the 12 remaining teams square off to see who will represent each conference in Super Bowl XLVI on Feb. 5 in Indianapolis.

The Giants (9-7) qualified by winning the NFC East title. They did so, of course, with a 31-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night in the final game of the NFL regular season. The Falcons (10-6) earned a wild-card berth, finishing second to the 13-3 New Orleans Saints in the NFC South.
