College Basketball Rankings, Week 11: Syracuse No. 1 In USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Poll For Sixth Consecutive Week

For the sixth consecutive week the Syracuse Orange men's basketball program is ranked the No. 1 team in the nation, a mark that ties a school record. The Orange (19-0, 6-0) was earned all 31 of the votes after collecting a road victory Tuesday night at the Villanova Wildcats and then downing the Providence Friars Saturday night to remain unbeaten

On Monday, Syracuse hosts the Pittsburgh Panthers in a "Big Monday" contest on ESPN (7:30 p.m.) and a victory would allow the Orange to set a school record of 20 consecutive victories to begin a season.

Meanwhile, the Seton Hall Pirates, who were not ranked in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll, but ranked in the AP Poll, were left out of the polls again. This is no surprise as the Pirates (15-3, 4-2) lost Friday night at the South Florida Bulls, 56-55.
