The New York Jets fell three places and the New York Giants rose three spots in the Week 4 NFL Power Rankingsreleased Tuesday morning by SB Nation. The Jets (2-1) are No. 6 after a 34-24 loss to the Oakland Raiders. The Giants (2-1) moved into the top half of the rankings at No. 14 after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles, 29-16.

The vaunted Jets defense was exploited by Darren McFadden and the Raiders as Oakland rushed for 234 yards. The performance has left a testy Jets coach Rex Ryan wondering what happened and taking flak from legendary Jet great Joe Namath.

The Jets have to travel to Baltimore Sunday to face the 2-1 Ravens, who are No. 2 in the NFL Power Rankings.

The Giants are still a work in progress, but showed against the Eagles that they are still capable of defeating good teams when they play well. The Giants need to avoid a letdown this Sunday when they travel to Arizona to face the 1-2 Cardinals.
