It is down to two teams for the services of All-Pro cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and Giants fans aren't going to be happy with either choice: the New York Jets or the Dallas Cowboys. With the Houston Texans signing Jonathan Joseph and wide spread reports that the San Francisco 49ers are out of the bidding for Asomugha, it only leaves the Jets and Cowboys, who ironically face off week 1 in Sunday Night Football.

In a final bid to clear cap space for Asomugha, the Jets have released quarterbacks Mark Brunell and Kevin O'Connell. They are expected to resign Brunell after the situation with Asomugha shakes out. They have also announced signing rookie quarterback Greg McElroy to a 4 year deal.
