Official odds for Saturday's running of the Belmont Stakes, the third leg of horse racing's Triple Crown, will not be set until the field is official as of Wednesday morning. However, early odds are floating around and it looks like Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom is considered a slight favorite over Preakness Stakes winner Shackleford.

According to Doc Sports, Animal Kingdom is currently 5-2, Shackleford 5-1, Nehro 7-2, Master of Hounds 7-1 and Mucho Macho Man is 8-1.

We will have more Belmont information at SB Nation New York later Tuesday as any news develops. Belmont post time Saturday will be 6:35 p.m. ET, and the race will be broadcast on NBC.
