Navy has won last nine meetings between service academies

Army and Navy will meet on the football field for the 112th time Saturday (2:30 p.m. ET/CBS) at FedEx Field in Landover, Md. The Black Knights of Army are 3-8 this season, while the Midshipmen of Navy are 4-7.

Navy has won the last nine meetings, with the last Army victory coming during the 2001 season. Navy is a seven-point favorite Saturday.

The first game in this rivalry between military academies was held Nov. 24, 1890. Navy earned a 24-0 victory.

In a modern twist on this event both military academies have  turned to social media to pump up the volume a bit as kickoff approaches.
