NFL Week 14: New York Jets Vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The New York Jets (7-5) hope to continue their drive for an AFC playoff berth Sunday when they host the Kansas City Chiefs (5-7) at MetLife Stadium (1 p.m. ET/CBS). The Jets have won two straight, while the offensively-challenged Chiefs are coming off a 10-3 victory over the Chicago Bears.

The Jets are still outside the AFC playoff picture due to tie-breakers, but now have the same overall record as the sixth-seeded Cincinnati Bengals.

The Chiefs are using Tyler Palko at quarterback after starter Matt Cassel was lost with a shoulder injury. Kansas City signed veteran Kyle Orton, and he debuted against the Bears but disclocated a finger on his throwing hand.

"We're a team that just wants to win and get in the playoffs and see what happens. That's what we try to do. Our goal is intact, even though it looked really bad a few weeks ago," Jets coach Rex Ryan said. "We don't have any wiggle room. We have to get it done and we understand that. We also have a great deal of confidence in ourselves and we're not worried. We're not focused on other teams in this league. We're just focused on getting better and finding ways to win."

The Jets are seven-point favorites over the Chiefs. See all the NFL point spreads at the SB Nation NFL Odds Page powered by Odds Shark.
