The St. John's Red Storm (7-5 overall, 1-0 in the Big East) face a difficult task today when they face the ninth-ranked Connecticut Huskies (11-1 overall, 1-0 Big East) at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn. (Noon ET on SNY). The game is also being streamed on ESPN3.com

Coach Jim Calhoun won't be on the sideline for UConn as he is currently serving a three-game suspension imposed by the NCAA. UConn comes into the game having won six straight, while St. John's has a three-game winning streak. The Red Storm dominated Providence, 91-67, in their last game.

St. John's defeated the Huskies last season, but this year's version of the Johnnies is a much younger team.
