Heading into their huge showdown Saturday the New York Giants and New York Jets are both considered 40-1 shots to reach the Super Bowl, according to oddsmakers.
The Jets (8-6) began the season with 12-1 Super Bowl odds. The Giants (7-7) began the year with 28-1 odds.
It is interesting that the two teams get the same Super Bowl odds, since the giants have only 11-4 odds of winning the NFC East while the Dallas Cowboys are 1-2 favorites.
The Giants’ only path to the playoffs is winning the division title.
