The red hot Seton Hall pirates sailed their ship into Dayton for a date with the Flyers on Wednesday night. Senior Herb Pope led the Pirates to their 11th victory of the season, beating Dayton by a final score of 69-64.
Pope was one of four Seton Hall players to score in double figures. Pope had 14 points, the same as teammate Jordan Theodore. Patrick Auda led the Pirates with 18 points. Pope had nine rebounds in the game, the most of any of his teammates. This was only the third out of 12 games where Pope did not have double digits in the rebound department.
