The 2011 edition of the Big East-SEC Challenge tips off Thursday night, as the St. John's University men's basketball program visits the University of Kentucky at Rupp Arena. The made-for-ESPN event will feature 12 games spread out over three days pitting programs of the Big East Conference against Southeastern Conference and features quality match ups like: Syracuse University, who is ranked No. 3 in the USA Today/ESPN Coaches Poll and No. 4 in the AP Poll, hosting the University of Florida (No. 9/10), and the University of Louisville (No. 6/6) playing visiting Vanderbilt University (No. 19/20) Friday night; the University of Pittsburgh (No. 17/16) traveling to the University of Tennessee Saturday.
