Both the New York Giants and Jets lost during Week 11 of the NFL Season. The Jets suffered a tough and much talked about 17-13 loss to Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, while the Giants dropped a Sunday night showdown, to the NFL East rival Philadelphia Eagles, 17-10.
On Tuesday, the disappointing week for the SB Nation New York squads was reflected in the Week 12 NFL Power Rankings as both franchises dropped in the polls.
Giants, Jets have fallen behind in playoff chase
According to NFL.com, the Giants dropped from No. 8 to No. 10, while the Jets fell from No. 13 to No. 16. Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio had the Jets penciled at No. 11 last week, but this week has them at No. 16, while the Giants moved down from No. 6 to No. 10. SI.com's Peter King, ranks the Giants at No. 12 after having them at No. 7, while the Jets were not ranked -- King ranks only the top 15 -- after last week they were ranked No. 10.
