The BCS continues to snub the Big East with their ranking system. Both Cincinnati and Rutgers are still unranked, despite being at the top of the conference. The sole representative of the Big East is the West Virginia Mountaineers, who come in at 25 despite their 49-23 loss this past weekend to unranked Syracuse. 

The BCS continues to love both Boise State who have an awfully weak schedule and the Texas Longhorns, who have yet to win a game against a ranked opponent and who have lost their last two. Also surprising is Wisconsin's drop in the rankings after an extremely close game to the Michigan State Spartans that resulted in a loss for the Badgers.
