The New York Jets will look to avoid dropping to 2-2 Sunday Night when they travel to Baltimore to face the Baltimore Ravens in the nationally-televised Sunday Night Football game (NBC, 8:20 p.m. ET). The Ravens are also 2-1 on the young season.
The Jets will look to shore up their run defense last week after being shredded for 234 yards by the Oakland Raiders in 34-24 loss. Led by running back Ray Rice the Ravens have one of the league's best rushing attacks, so they will be certain to test New York.
"I know we can play better," said Jets coach Rex Ryan. "If we’re going to win this game, we better be at our best in all phases because if you’re not, you’re going to get beat. We know who we're going against."
New York might get center Nick Mangold back this week. Mangold missed last Sunday's game with a high ankle sprain.
