NHL, NHLPA Reach Settlement to Approve Kovalchuk Deal

As reported by TSN's Darren Dreger:

TSN says a deal between the NHL and the PA has been reached and they're working on paper work for 5pm.

Kovalchuk deal will also get approved as part of the new global settlement.

What this essentially means is that Kovalchuk will get his 15-Year, $100 million contract with New Jersey. We'll have more as 5PM ET rolls around. For now, this song feels appropriate.
