The New Jersey Nets will become the first team to host a regular-season NBA game in Europe, when they play the Toronto Raptors in London's O2 Arena on March 4th and 5th.
This had been bandied about for a few days, but today it became official as the NBA unrolled the entire 2010-11 schedule. What also became official is that both games would be counted as "home" games for the Nets - meaning they'll only have 39 true home dates in New Jersey this season. The Nets will have four games prior to the back-to-back to rest up and prepare for the jetlag, before an additional three-day rest before their next home game.
It's the only piece of exciting news for the Nets with the schedules' revealing: the Nets have no games on ABC or ESPN all season long.
