Nets Sign Travis Outlaw

The news you’ve all been waiting for!

The New Jersey Nets have reached a five-year, $35-million agreement with former Portland Trailblazer small forward Travis Outlaw, a preps-to-pros guy known mainly for his athleticism and perimeter defense.

This is their way of saying “it appears we won’t be using these $7 million a year on multiple max contracts, so we probably should start actually building a decent team.” LeBron is still a vague possibility, and this won’t effect that, but… well, they need to start looking for other options.
