Knicks Make Offer To Amare Stoudemire

According to Howard Beck at the New York Times, it’s official.

The New York Knicks have offered Amare Stoudemire a five-year, $100 million contract, and could potentially move up their meeting with Bosh from Monday to an earlier date.

The Knicks are apparently the front-runner for Stoudemire, and if he signs with New York, it could go a long way towards landing other agents knowing they’ll have a running mate.

Via Twitter, Beck points out that it's far from a done deal, but he points out the Knicks appear to be the team willing to offer the most money to Stoudemire.
