David Lee, New York’s first All-Star since Allan Houston and Latrell Sprewell, is one of the most sought-after free agents on the market. The New York Knicks have Bird Rights on him, meaning they can offer more than any other team can in free agency, but they’re out pursuing other options, with Lee a potential fallback.

So what’s Lee up to? Well, he’s out getting his.

Pretty much as soon as possible, Lee had set up meetings with the Minnesota Timberwolves, visiting them in Minneapolis, the Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, and Brooklyn’s soon-to-be-own New Jersey Nets.

However, the first team to actually offer Lee anything is purportedly the Boston Celtics, via Jeff Goodman of weei.com.
