Knicks To Meet Amare Stoudemire

Amare Stoudemire is no longer a Phoenix Sun. The big man has opted out of the final year of his contract, which would’ve been worth around $17.7 million.

First, he met with the Heat in the wee hours of the morning last night in Miami. But soon after, he was on the phone with MIke D’Antoni. Stoudemire will meet face-to-face with the Knicks on Monday in New York. (Monday? Wait, I thought all the free agents were supposed to sign today?) Things are happening.
