From USA Today.
The New York Jets took the field in their new Meadowlands stadium Wednesday in front of what appeared to be a much larger and more enthusiastic crowd than the New York Giants drew at their practice yesterday.
Jets fans filled up numerous sections of the new field’s lower bowl a day after the Giants drew approximately 7,000 fans.
Not to start anything here, but maybe it is because this is the first time the Jets have had a real home of their own. It has to be a big deal to their fans, even if is shared with the Giants.
